Men’s Ministry

Our men’s ministry is designed to help men grow to where they can effectively lead their family, church, and community in biblical truth. We meet each Monday night at The LIFE Center (4620 E. Silver Springs Blvd (Suite 402)) from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

The men of CBC will be teaching the following apologetic questions…

October 5

  • Why would a good God allow evil to exist? (Mark)
  • How can a loving God send people to hell? (John Mark)
  • Why does God remain so “hidden?” (Caleb)

October 12

  • What is the role and danger of using “common sense” in evaluating truth claims? (Jonathan)
  • How can Christians think their personal religious experiences with God are any more “true” than those of adherents to other belief systems? (Juan)
  • What major Old Testament prophecies did Jesus fulfill? (EJ)

October 19

  • What are the key similarities and differences between the world’s major religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism)? (Mike R.)
  • Why would God need people to worship Him (isn’t that egotistical and arrogant?) (Les)
  • What key arguments are there for (and against) God’s existence? (Roy)

October 26

  • Do all religions ultimately point to the same God? Why or why not? (Bob W.)
  • What does the Bible say about the exclusivity of Jesus with regard to salvation? (Alan)
  • What are the key passages in the Bible that show Jesus claimed to be God? (Mark)

When these topics are finished, we will assign new topics throughout the fall semester.
